Team Awa Photo

Here is a photo of our cheerful Team Awa.

Last week we wrote some recounts using hooks about the chromebook unboxing day. Here are a couple of great little recounts. You can read more on the Room 1 individual blogs.

“Arrrrgggghhhh!” I screamed. I can’t wait until I receive my chromebook. Crash errrkkkk  I ripped my box. “Woooow” I screamed as I cuddled it like a teddy bear. Magic received her chromebook and she looked like she was about to EXPLODE!!! The class and I were busting to open the chromebook. All the parents were there to see the big smiles from their children. I was going to spring up because of all the excitement in my heart. “I just CAN’T WAIT TO  WORK ON THEM” I screeched at Magic but no reply. Magic was to into her chromebook.

“Hooray!” I shouted. It was the big day. Chromebooks were going to arrive. I shot out of bed like a tiger racing to the wild green jungle. I got dressed as fast as I could. Mum shot of like there was no tomorrow. Eerrrrrr! We arrived at school.
Ring Ring! everyone raced to room one."Hey does everyone have to come?” asked Antonio. Later Mrs Whitelaw said a few words. After that everyone was dead quiet. Soon Mrs Craig said let’s do the countdown “10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Yeahee!” everyone shouted as we called out the names like Nero, Honey ,Rocky, Jack, Alex and many, many more. Everyone was smiling. 
Do you know what was in the box?It was something shiny, something grey…. It was our chromebooks! Everyone was bursting to bits, except the people in the crowd of course. After that everyone in room one had their chromebooks. That was probably one of the best days of my life. And I’m sure it was everyone else's too.

head.
“I can’t wait!” I heard lots of people say in excitement. “Now we are going to do the countdown,” said Mrs Craig “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,” screamed the school. The year 4’s ripped their chromebook box open. “WOW!” screamed everyone. Then the teachers gave out the cases.  Finally the bell rang. “Hooray!” I shouted. “It’s lunch.”
