Water Cycle
We have been investigating the water cycle. We were wanting to find out where water comes from and which way does water flow. Some children believe it goes from the mountain to the Sea and some children believe it goes from the sea to the mountain.

Pink Friday
On Friday we had a pink day to stand up for bullying. There were lots of creative costumes. Luke and Indi both won prizes for their costumes. Luke wore his little sisters pink cardigan as a cape and Indi all pink - including her hair.
Here are a few photos of our day.

Rippa Rugby
Last week we had Cameron and Pete from Northland Rugby come and teach us some rippa rugby skills. We played some mini games with the ball then we had a game of rippa. The games were lots of fun. We have some very talented and fit rugby players in room one.

Visual Pepeha
We have been learning our Pepeha. We also created some visual pepeha, using a variety of different mediums. We sketched a portrait of ourselves then we used vivid to draw in our maunga and whanau (which are represented by Koru's). We used dye to colour the background. We cut letters out of magazines to write our names. Here are our finished products.
